Okay folks, I have been on a break away from my blog. I will return very shortly (possibly tomorrow.) Until then, enjoy the stats of SitMY. The rest is from the email I received from WordPress.
The stats helper monkeys at WordPress.com mulled over how this blog did in 2010, and here’s a high level summary of its overall blog health:
The Blog-Health-o-Meter™ reads: “This blog is doing awesome! You’re in shape”.
The Leaning Tower of Pisa has 296 steps to reach the top. This blog was viewed about 1,200 times in 2010. If those were steps, it would have climbed the Leaning Tower of Pisa 4 times. (I hope Donald Sterling is behind it going “You’re out of shape!” Damn, I already used that joke.)
In 2010, there were 69 new posts, not bad for the first year! There were 29 pictures uploaded, taking up a total of 9mb. That’s about 2 pictures per month. (On an honest note, I just Google most of my images.)
The busiest day of the year was October 18th with 46 views. The most popular post that day was Pink Angers More Than You Think. (Thank you to all that help spread that article out.)
Where did they come from?
The top referring sites in 2010 were facebook.com, twitter.com, hootsuite.com, en.wordpress.com, and studentloansinterest.org. (I share my articles on the first two. Not sure how that last site gets here, but whatever.)
Some visitors came searching, mostly for winner is rebel black bear, new patriots jerseys with american flag on the side, snow days at progressive field, mall of america field, and future nike kansas city chiefs jersey.
Attractions in 2010
These are the posts and pages that got the most views in 2010.
1. Pink Angers More Than You Think(article about the Pacers rookies wearing pink backpacks and complaints around Indianapolis.) October 2010
2. Future Jersey Shore(article about a fan drawing the new Nike jerseys. Hey, back then we thought it WAS official.) November 2010
3. About Me July 2010
4. Career Stats July 2010
5. Fun Times in Cleveland II: Water Boogaloo September 2010
(One comment: WHY is Fun Times II so popular? It was me going to Cleveland for a job fair and what I saw. Even in November I still had people visiting that post. Just something I wonder about.)
I have no plans to end my blog in 2011. I look forward to growing into the field of sportscasting, but I always look forward to sharing my views on sports. I plan on reviving “Sportscasters Anonymous” and “You Might Have Been Here” sometime during the year. I might update everyone on how my experiences are going with my internship and my volunteer gig. All I know is, I’m still here.
I hope everyone has enjoyed my blog so far. More is on the way, fair readers.
Until next time,
